GRAND HOTEL PALACE ROME, Rome – Your ideal downtown stay

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were clean and cozy, but the sit bath shower made it difficult for showering, especially with back problems. The huge balcony overlooking Via Veneto was a plus. The service was outstanding with friendly and helpful staff in all departments. The location, while beautiful, was challenging to access due to the steep slope. The dining experience fell short with limited options, but the juicer for DIY juices was a nice touch.

The rooms were standard but cozy until midnight. The bathroom was excellent, but there could have been improvements with dark walls, bad lighting, and one small window. The small kitchen was a nice addition. The staff couldn't have been more helpful in ordering taxis, were very attentive and interested in our trip, but could have been more attentive to breakfast replenishment. The location was just what we wanted, within walking distance from most landmarks, with modern furnishing and an upscale European boutique hotel feel. The dining experience felt overpriced and poor in quality with the service lacking care. The hotel facilities were efficient and always happy to assist.

The hotel looked much better in pictures with a massive balcony that could easily accommodate table & chairs for a relaxing outdoor experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but a bit disappointing for an 'executive' room. The service was helpful, although the hotel needs updating and is not a 5-star establishment. The location made it easy to get to all the main attractions, with access to restaurants and a great walk inside Rome. The dining experience fell short of expectations with limited options and high prices. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.

The rooms are absolutely fantastic, immaculately presented, with the biggest bath I have ever seen. The service was kind and friendly, always providing assistance.
